(FREE) Chapter 1: The Basics
iRacing Seasons (00:00)
There is 4 season per year. Each season is divided into 12 weeks. At the end of the season, we get a transition week which is called week 13.
How does a season functions? (00:10)
Every week, a series will run a specific track. You can race as much as you want during this week. Races occur every 30 minutes, hour or 2 hours. It varies from series to series.
These are called “official”, which means your iRating & Satefy Rating will be affected.
Week 13 (00:55)
This week is used as a transition from a season to another. Most often, iRacing will release new cars & tracks, bug fixes & physics updates.
